Baku: In accordance with an order by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 31, 2026, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has allocated a presidential monthly pension to four family members of deminers Seymur Rashid oglu Namazov and Rafiq Deputat oglu Isayev. These deminers lost their lives in an accident caused by the detonation of explosive ordnance during demining activities, as reported by the Ministry to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the monthly pension amount is set at 700 manats. This amount is to be divided equally among the family members in proportion to their number.

The decree specifies that eligible family members include the spouse, parents, children under the age of 18, or up to the age of 23 if they are enrolled in vocational, secondary specialized, or higher education institutions. Additionally, children over the age of 18 with disabilities determined before reaching adulthood, siblings raised in orphanages, and grandparents who have no other close relatives of the first degree are also considered family members eligible for the pension.
