Lachin: A media tour has been organized to the “Lachin” Recreation Complex, currently under construction in the village of Zerti in the Lachin district. Executive Director of the recreation center, Moris Karimov, provided insights into the development of the complex, which spans a total area of 11.2 hectares with 42,000 square meters dedicated to the recreation site.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Karimov detailed the infrastructure at the complex, including a hotel building with 120 rooms of various categories and 8 cottages, designed to accommodate a total of 324 guests. The facilities have been built to modern standards to ensure a comfortable stay for visitors.

The complex is equipped with a 500-person event hall and a 340-person banquet hall, both featuring modern technology suitable for business meetings, conferences, and other events. Additionally, a 100-person conference hall and a meeting room have been established.

Further, Karimov highlighted the entertainment facilities available to guests, which include karaoke, billiards, VR gaming zones, and a children’s entertainment center. Sports enthusiasts can benefit from football and basketball courts, as well as cycling and walking tracks within the complex.

Employment opportunities have also been created, with 174 staff members set to work at the center, 122 of whom are residents of Lachin, Kalbajar, and other liberated territories.

Notably, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the ‘Lachin’ Recreation Complex in Zerti village, Lachin district.
