Baku: The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has firmly denied allegations from the Armenian Ministry of Defense claiming that Azerbaijani Army units fired on the Khaznavar settlement. According to the Armenian claims, the incident occurred between 01:00 and 01:15 on May 29, allegedly resulting in damage to a residential building.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense characterized the Armenian statements as disinformation, asserting they do not reflect reality. The Ministry accused the Armenian side of deliberately spreading false narratives to mislead international public opinion and to create a pretext for potential provocations. The Ministry stressed that Azerbaijani Army units do not engage in firing upon civilians or civilian infrastructure.
