Baku:A webinar titled 'Digital Innovations in Social Protection and Employment' was held to promote the exchange of experience on digital transformation in social protection and employment among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the event was jointly organized by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) and Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The aim of the webinar was to share best practices in the application of digital technologies in social protection and employment systems and to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience among OIC member states. More than 100 specialists from OIC member countries participated, with ministry officials presenting Azerbaijan's experience in digital transformation in the fields of social protection and employment.
The webinar provided information on the achievements made in providing social services to citizens in a unified digital environment, integrating data, and making services proactive. Participants were also informed about the ministry's Centralized Electronic Information System, digital information systems in the fields of labor and employment, and ongoing work to facilitate citizens' access to social services through e-systems, making services more flexible and transparent.
