Azerbaijan Increases Diesel and Gasoline Output Significantly

Baku: Azerbaijan has significantly boosted its diesel and motor gasoline production, demonstrating a notable rise in the country's oil product output. The total value of production in the oil products sector reached 5,532.3 million manat last year, marking an increase of 13.7% compared to the previous year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, data from the State Statistical Committee's monthly report reveals that diesel fuel production saw an increase of 22.9%, while motor gasoline production rose by 17.2%. Additionally, the production of fuel oil increased by 2.2 times, and petroleum coke production rose by 31.3%. White oil production also noted a growth of 22.9%.

However, the report indicates a decline in certain areas, with petroleum bitumen production decreasing by 2.1% and lubricating oil production falling significantly by 48.2%. These shifts reflect changes in the country's focus and production capabilities within the oil product sector.
