Davos: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DP World, in Davos. The meeting took place on January 19 and focused on the operations of DP World, one of the world's largest port operators, in Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, both parties praised DP World's successful operations within Azerbaijan. The discussion emphasized Azerbaijan's strategic position at the crossroads of major international transport corridors. They also reviewed recent projects aimed at developing modern transport infrastructure in the country and discussed the potential for expanding cooperation with DP World.
