Azerbaijan Joins the Metre Convention

Baku: Azerbaijan has joined the Metre Convention, APA reports. President Ilham Aliyev has approved the law pertaining to this development. With this, the Republic of Azerbaijan has officially become a part of the Metre Convention, an international treaty that was originally signed in Paris on May 20, 1875.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Metre Convention aims to facilitate global uniformity in measurement. By joining this convention, Azerbaijan aligns itself with international standards and practices in the field of metrology.
