Accra:The Azerbaijan Media and Broadcasting Council is actively working to combat disinformation aimed at the country. Natiq Mammadli, Head of Department at the Council, highlighted these efforts during his speech at the 9th Congress of Azerbaijani Journalists.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Mammadli emphasized that the Council operates tirelessly to address disinformation, frequently issuing statements and comments to counter false narratives.

The Council's response includes round-the-clock operations, with interventions occurring even at midnight or multiple times throughout the day to expose misleading information.
