Beijing:The leadership of Azerbaijan's Media and Broadcasting Council is participating in the opening ceremony of the 7th World Media Summit in Beijing, China.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the summit is being held under the theme 'Media in the Intelligent Age From Consensus to Action'. It focuses on expanding access to artificial intelligence and transforming global media, media dialogue, and cooperation for a safer world.

The event addresses the role of AI in intercultural communication, the future of global communication governance, and showcases Beijing's experience in development and modernization. The programme includes plenary sessions, thematic forums, seminars, and visits that highlight Beijing's cultural heritage and modern development.

The World Media Summit, founded in 2009 by nine leading media organizations, serves as an international platform for high-level dialogue and cooperation among media organizations, think tanks, governments, businesses, and international institutions.
