Neftchala: An employee of the Shirvan City Fire Department of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Piriyev Hakim Shahlar oglu, born in 1984, was laid to rest in the Shorbachy village cemetery of Neftchala district. He tragically lost his life after being hit by a truck while performing his duty during a fire extinguishing operation on the Baku-Astara highway on February 21, 2026, at around 06:00.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the funeral ceremony was attended by members of the local community, officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including Chief of the State Fire Protection Service Asif Mammadli and Chief Fire Safety Expert Yusif Nabiyev, along with MES personnel, village residents, and relatives of the deceased.
