Baku: Sixteen Azerbaijani fighters will compete at the Kazakh Wrestling (Qazaq Kuresi) World Championships to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan from August 22-23. Azerbaijan will be represented by a team of 8 female and 8 male fighters.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, about 200 wrestlers from 24 countries will step onto the tatami during the competition.
