Baku: Economic cooperation constitutes an important dimension of Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations, said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a press conference held with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha. FM Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan's readiness to support Ukraine with gas supplies if necessary, underscoring the deepening energy cooperation between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister noted the long-standing presence of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in the Ukrainian market, emphasizing its ongoing operations and future plans. He described the dialogue between Azerbaijan and Ukraine as very dynamic, with discussions focusing on enhancing energy cooperation through new and additional elements.

FM Bayramov pointed out that Azerbaijan is currently supplying gas to 16 countries globally, including 12 European nations, 10 of which are EU member states. He reiterated Azerbaijan's willingness to extend gas supplies to Ukraine if needed, highlighting the potential for broader energy security cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
