Baku: Digital frameworks will be defined for enterprises with the aim of expanding digitalization in the liberated territories and in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA reports. This initiative is part of the ‘Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2029,’ which was approved by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the strategy mandates the Ministry of Economy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to ensure several key objectives between 2026 and 2029. These include the development of criteria for digital frameworks for enterprises, ensuring that at least 20 enterprises carry out their activities in accordance with the relevant framework, and that at least 50 enterprises operate based on the digital framework.
Furthermore, the strategy aims to achieve an increase of a
t least 20 percent in the share of digital activity in the liberated territories and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. This move is expected to play a significant role in enhancing digitalization efforts and facilitating economic growth in these regions.
