Baku: A unified ‘Digital Solutions and Services Platform’ is planned to be established in Azerbaijan to meet the demand of enterprises for digital solutions, and the registration of digital solution providers on this platform will be encouraged.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, this measure is reflected in the ‘Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2029.’ The document outlines plans to research mechanisms that will encourage the registration of enterprises and individuals in the country. The initiative aims to register at least 20 providers on the new platform. Through this system, it is anticipated that 20% of enterprises in Azerbaijan will undergo digital transformation.
This platform, modeled after the United Kingdom’s ‘Digital Marketplace,’ is expected to enhance competition and innovation across both public and business sectors. It aims to reduce costs in public procurement and enable access to more efficient digital solutions.
