Azerbaijan Parliament Endorses Address for World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day

Baku: Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis has adopted an address on the occasion of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, APA reports. The address, aimed at uniting Azerbaijanis globally, underscores the country's achievements and aspirations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agenda of the parliament's session held today included the item titled 'On the approval of the Address of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.' The address was read out by MP Zaur Shukurov, highlighting Azerbaijan's progress and the unity of its people.

The address emphasized the significance of ending the 30-year occupation, which demonstrated Azerbaijan's strength as a state. It also noted that Azerbaijan's transformation into a leading state in the South Caucasus is a source of pride for compatriots settled across various continents. The statement further articulated that while significant achievements have been made, there is still work to be done to fully realize Azerbaijan's potential on the global stage. The address concluded by stressing that the existence and future of the Azerbaijani people largely depend on the unity of world Azerbaijanis.

After being read, the address was put to a vote and adopted by the parliament.
