Osaka: The Azerbaijan pavilion at the ‘Expo 2025’ world exhibition held in Osaka, Japan, has won the German Design Award in the category of ‘Excellent Architecture / Fair and Exhibition,’ APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this award, established in 2012 and internationally renowned, is presented to projects that drive innovation and open new perspectives through design. Representatives of the German Design Award who visited the Azerbaijan pavilion highly appreciated the concept of the national pavilion, noting that it attracted the interest of many visitors and evaluated it as a fantastic project.
The ‘Expo 2025’ world exhibition, which operated from April 13 to October 13, had more than 25 million visitors in total. The Azerbaijan pavilion, created under the organization of the Heydar Aliyev Center, ranked among the most distinguished and visited pavilions. The national pavilion welcomed over 2 million visitors during ‘Expo 2025.’ The pavilion’s concept was inspired by the poem ‘Seven Beauties’ by the Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi.
