Azerbaijan Plans Restoration of Historic Tea House in Aghdam


BAKU: The historic House of Tea in Aghdam is set to undergo reconstruction, announced Sabughi Abdullayev, deputy executive director of the Rehabilitation, Construction, and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, during the Caspian Construction Week.

According to Trend News Agency, the restoration project will involve both local and foreign companies. Abdullayev shared these details at the Caspian Construction Week, a prominent event in the regional construction industry, held at the Baku Expo Center from October 15 to 17. The event has attracted over 380 companies from 22 countries, showcasing their latest projects and innovations.

In addition to discussing the Tea House, Abdullayev highlighted the development of the Aghdam Industrial Park, where 72 residents have invested more than 72 million manat ($42.3 million). He emphasized the growing investment volumes in the park.

ry and development of Aghdam district, which suffered extensive damage and displacement of 128,000 people during its occupation by Armenian armed forces from 1993 until its liberation by Azerbaijani forces in 2020.
