Taking into account the construction of new airports in the liberated territories, Azerbaijan plans to expand its aircraft fleet, said the head of state Ilham Aliyev during a meeting on Wednesday with Boeing President Stanley Dila. “I am confident that our successful cooperation will continue,” he said, according to a statement on the website of the head of state.
The country’s national air carrier, AZAL, has 25 Boeing aircraft of various models (787, 767 and 757).
