Baku: Azerbaijan will contribute $2 million to the 14th Asian Development Fund (ADF 14), announced Sahil Babayev, Minister of Finance and Azerbaijan’s representative to the Asian Development Bank, during a business session with the bank’s leadership.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Babayev emphasized the significant role the Asian Development Fund plays in combating climate change and aiding the poorest and most vulnerable countries in the region. He noted that the Fund provides essential financial resources to address urgent ecological issues.
The Minister further stated that Azerbaijan supports the activities of ADF, acknowledging its importance in tackling climate challenges and promoting sustainable development in the region. He confirmed that Azerbaijan is undertaking necessary steps to ensure its $2 million contribution to ADF 14.
