Baku: Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Trkiye's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, today. The meeting was confirmed by the Cabinet of Ministers, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum was highlighted during the meeting. The organization of panel discussions focused on the COP and the climate agenda within the framework of the event was welcomed by both parties. They further discussed the collaboration between Azerbaijan and Trkiye in the domains of environmental protection, waste management, and strategies to combat climate change.

Additionally, the significance of the upcoming 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to be held in Baku in 2026, was acknowledged during the discussions.
