Baku:The country is actively working on a peace agenda focused on reinforcing lasting peace and stability in the region, alongside prioritizing the reconstruction of liberated territories, known as the Great Return, economic diversification, and long-term national development.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Prime Minister Ali Asadov highlighted these efforts during discussions at the Cabinet of Ministers. He stated that the upcoming medium-term period from 2027 to 2030 will bring new strategic challenges and objectives due to complex regional geopolitical and economic developments and global trends.

The drafts for the new 2027-2030 Strategy and the Second State Program on the Great Return have been developed and thoroughly discussed by the Economic Council. These have been submitted to the President, and following recent presidential adoptions of new state programs, the Strategy is in its final stages and is anticipated to receive approval in the coming months.
