Azerbaijan Prepares to Draft and Adopt a New Labour Code

Baku: “We are on the verge of drafting and adopting a new Labour Code,” Musa Guliyev, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Labour and Social Policy, announced during today’s committee meeting on amendments to the Labour Code.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Musa Guliyev highlighted that the efforts to improve the Labour Code have been in progress for many years. The announcement marks a significant step towards updating the legal framework governing labor relations in Azerbaijan. These changes aim to address the evolving needs of the workforce and ensure that the Labour Code reflects current labor market conditions.
