Baku: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Thongloun Sisoulith of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Laos. In his message, President Aliyev expressed his best wishes to President Sisoulith and the people of Laos.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the significance of expanding relations between Azerbaijan and Laos. He highlighted the importance of enriching bilateral and multilateral cooperation with new content. President Aliyev expressed confidence in the continuation of joint efforts to strengthen friendly relations and to fully utilize the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations.
