Baku:President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on his re-election as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance Azerbaijan places on developing friendly relations with Brazil. He expressed confidence that both nations will continue their joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations and expand mutually beneficial cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels.

In his message, President Aliyev also wished President Lula da Silva robust health, happiness, and success in his high-level state activities, aiming for the prosperity of the friendly people of Brazil.
