Baku: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has reiterated the country's proposal to host the next meeting in the 3+3 format in Azerbaijan, followed by Armenia. The proposal remains on the table despite not being included in the final document of the recent meeting held in Trkiye in 2024.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the 3+3 format was initiated by Azerbaijan after the Second Karabakh War, with the main focus appearing to be on the Azerbaijan-Armenia issue. However, Bayramov pointed out that the Azerbaijan-Armenia issue has largely been resolved, with ongoing direct dialogue between the two nations. He emphasized that if the agenda involves discussing issues pertaining to all regional countries, Azerbaijan has no objections to hosting the meeting in 2024, pending acceptance of their proposal.
