Azerbaijan Railways Highlights Strategic Transport Routes at Transport Logistic China 2026

Shanghai: Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), a subsidiary of AZCON Holding, is actively showcasing Azerbaijan's transit and logistics potential at the Transport Logistic China 2026 exhibition in Shanghai, China. The event, running from June 24 to 26, gathers key players in logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ADY representatives are focusing their presentations on Azerbaijan's role in international transport and logistics. Emphasis is placed on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, also known as the Middle Corridor, along with the International North-South Transport Corridor and other critical regional routes. The ADY delegation is engaging with shippers, logistics operators, freight forwarders, investors, and potential business partners from China and beyond, aiming to forge new collaborative opportunities.

During the exhibition, ADY Chairman Rovshan Rustamov conducted strategic meetings with the executives of Interrail Holding AG and METRANS, the operator of the intermodal logistics network at the Port of Hamburg. These discussions focused on enhancing freight transportation along international corridors through Azerbaijan, developing the China-Europe-China routes, and launching innovative logistics services along the Middle Corridor. The talks also covered improving connectivity between the Port of Baku and European ports, developing intermodal terminal networks, and providing flexible logistics solutions for cargo owners.

Transport Logistic China 2026 is recognized as a premier event in Asia, drawing over 1,000 companies from nearly 50 countries and regions. The exhibition showcases the latest advancements in rail, maritime, and air freight transportation, multimodal logistics solutions, digital technologies, and supply chain management.
