Moscow: Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has announced the country's readiness to host the next meeting of the 3+3 regional cooperation platform. This statement was made during a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the initiative for this regional platform was first proposed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in 2021. At that time, the geopolitical and regional dynamics of the South Caucasus were significantly different from the present circumstances. The platform has since facilitated three significant meetings held in Moscow, Tehran, and Istanbul.

Bayramov emphasized Azerbaijan's view of the platform as a crucial mechanism for regional cooperation. He highlighted that a proposal to host the upcoming meeting in Azerbaijan was made shortly after the last gathering in 2024. The intent is to continue discussions on issues of shared interest among the participating nations. Reinforcing this commitment, Bayramov reiterated Azerbaijan's willingness to facilitate the next meeting on its soil, underlining the platform's importance in fostering collaborative dialogue.
