BAKU: A total of 75,000 trucks have been recorded at the electronic scale point situated in Azerbaijan’s Garadagh district over the past 10 days. This revelation was made by Subhan Abilov, the Director of the Cargo Transportation Department of the country’s Land Transport Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, during a media tour of the electronic scales monitoring center located at the Baku International Bus Terminal complex.
According to Trend News Agency, Abilov emphasized that information regarding violations by these vehicles is promptly relayed to the Main Directorate of the State Traffic Police. The electronic scales are subjected to metrological testing by the Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology, ensuring they are certified for accuracy.
The project involves the deployment of 51 scales across 31 locations throughout Azerbaijan, with a planned completion date in 2026, Abilov noted.
