Azerbaijan-Russia Business Dialogue Held in St. Petersburg

St. petersburg: A Russian-Azerbaijani business dialogue was conducted as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, APA's Russian bureau reports. The event brought together officials and business representatives from both nations to discuss mutual economic interests.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin addressed the gathering, highlighting the ongoing development of political, trade, and economic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. He emphasized the significance of joint projects and the collaboration within international transport corridors as vital components of the bilateral relationship.

Moreover, it was noted during the dialogue that there has been an increase in the volume of transactions carried out in national currencies between the two countries. This shift signifies a growing economic partnership and a move towards reducing reliance on foreign currencies in bilateral trade.

The dialogue underscored Russia's aim to develop comprehensive bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, indicating a strategic approach to fostering long-term cooperation across various sectors.
