Baku: Azerbaijan has witnessed a significant increase in its gold production, with figures rising by more than 63% during the first five months of 2025. From January to May, the country produced 1,297.8 kg of gold and 1,686.9 kg of silver.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported a 63.9% rise in gold production and a 23.8% increase in silver production compared to the same period in the previous year. These numbers reflect a robust growth in Azerbaijan’s mining sector.
As of June 1, 2025, Azerbaijan’s stock of finished gold products totaled 119.4 kg, while the stock of finished silver products reached 583.6 kg. These figures highlight the country’s capacity to maintain substantial reserves of both precious metals.
