Azerbaijan Sees 8% Rise in Non-Oil and Gas Investments

Baku: In the first eleven months of 2025, Azerbaijan has seen a substantial increase in investments directed towards the non-oil and gas sectors, surpassing an 8% rise. The nation allocated 16 billion 658.9 million manats to fixed capital, marking a 3% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the State Statistical Committee reported a notable shift in investment trends. While the oil and gas sector experienced an 8.5% decrease in investments, the non-oil and gas sectors saw an impressive 8.3% increase. Out of the total investments, 8,421.2 million manats, or 50.6%, were directed towards production sectors. Meanwhile, service sectors received 5,614.3 million manats, accounting for 33.7%, and residential building construction attracted 2,623.4 million manats, making up 15.7% of the total.

Domestic investments played a significant role, constituting 12,987.5 million manats or 78.0% of the total investments directed to fixed capital. Within these investments, a substantial portion, 12,687.9 million manats or 76.2%, was spent on construction and installation works.
