Baku: Azerbaijan imported 1.2673 million tons of wheat worth $275.626 million from January to December 2025.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, this data was reported by APA-Economics and sourced from the State Customs Committee.

The report highlights a 1.9% decrease in the volume of wheat imports, amounting to 24,700 tons, and a 1.5% decrease in value, totaling $4.1 million, compared to the previous year, 2024. Last year, wheat imports constituted 1.13% of Azerbaijan's total imports.

Additionally, the average price of one ton of wheat imported from Russia and Kazakhstan was 369.7 Azerbaijani manats in the previous year.
