Baku: In the first nine months of this year, the total value of oil products produced in Azerbaijan reached 4,047.3 million manats, reflecting a 0.4% increase over the same period last year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this data was revealed in the monthly report from the State Statistical Committee, indicating a notable uptick in the production of various oil products, including gasoline and diesel.

During this period, the production of mazut saw a remarkable increase of 2.1 times, while oil coke production rose by 8.5%. Diesel fuel production increased by 6.2%, and light oil production saw a 5.3% rise. Automobile gasoline production also saw a modest increase of 1%. However, the production of oil bitumen and lubricant oils saw significant decreases of 9.9% and 44.7%, respectively.

The report highlights the quantities of different oil products produced between January and September 2025. Automobile gasoline production reached 1,081.3 thousand tons, marking a 1% increase from the previous year, with a finished product inventory of 62.2 thousand tons as of October 1, 2025. White oil production rose to 518.8 thousand tons, a 5.3% increase, with an inventory of 27.9 thousand tons.

Diesel fuel production stood at 1,861.9 thousand tons, a 6.2% increase, with an inventory of 159 thousand tons. Fuel oil production was recorded at 57.6 thousand tons, while lubricants amounted to 27.3 thousand tons, a significant drop to 55.3% compared to the previous year. Liquefied gases production increased by 11.8% to 169.2 thousand tons, with an inventory of 2.3 thousand tons.

The report further details the production of petroleum coke, petroleum bitumen, and other petroleum product groups totaling 581.4 thousand tons, with petroleum bitumen accounting for 190.9 thousand tons and petroleum coke for 170.4 thousand tons, reflecting an 8.5% increase. Finished product inventories for these categories stood at 58.6 thousand tons, 14.9 thousand tons, and 43.3 thousand tons, respectively.
