Baku: The ‘an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, represented by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) regarding the hosting, organization, and financing of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25)’ has been ratified. President Ilham Aliyev has signed the law to this effect.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agreement was signed on June 25, 2025, in Geneva and on July 11, 2025, in Baku. This agreement outlines the responsibilities and commitments of both parties in preparation for the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference.
