Baku: Retail trade turnover in Azerbaijan experienced a notable increase of nearly 4% in the first nine months of 2025. During the period of January to September, the retail trade network in the country sold goods worth 46,422.8 million manats. This includes 25,359.1 million manats in food products, beverages, and tobacco products, and 21,063.7 million manats in non-food products.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported that the retail trade turnover saw a real-term increase of 3.7% compared to the same period in 2024. The growth rate for food products, beverages, and tobacco products was recorded at 1.3%, while non-food products experienced a more significant rise of 6.8%.
