Muscat: The State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan represented the country with a national stand at the First International Forum on Creative Handicraft Industries held in Muscat, the capital of Oman. The forum featured participation of over 300 handicraft establishments and craftsmen, alongside 10 local and international startup companies, researchers, designers, and stakeholders in the creative economy sector.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rashad Ismayilov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Oman, together with Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said bin Ibrahim Al Busaidi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism of Oman, and Halima bint Rashid al-Zari, Chairperson of Oman's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, visited the Azerbaijani stand. They viewed the handicraft products on display, highlighting Azerbaijan's commitment to promoting its cultural heritage and creative industries on an international platform.
