Azerbaijan Showcases Cultural Heritage at Altai Festival in Kazakhstan

Katon-karagay: The international festival 'Altai: The Golden Cradle of the Turkic World' has officially begun in the Katon-Karagay district of East Kazakhstan Region. This significant cultural event is designed to celebrate and enhance the shared heritage, traditions, and values that unify the Turkic peoples across various nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the festival's three-day program is set to include a variety of literary and cultural activities. These activities encompass poetry evenings, a competition for republican akyns, and traditional equestrian sports, offering a platform for cultural exchange and celebration.

Azerbaijan's presence at the festival is highlighted by its participation in a gala concert. This concert will feature esteemed performers from the Turkic states, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the region. Alongside Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the festival will also host artists from Trkiye, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, and other parts of the Turkic world, all coming together to display their unique cultural talents.
