Baku: Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov emphasized the strong interest of Slovak companies in contributing to the restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated territories. 'Through targeted state programs, Azerbaijan has prioritized sectors with the greatest potential for economic growth and private investment,' he stated at the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Minister highlighted that the prioritized sectors include mining and metallurgy, digital development, agriculture, and tourism. Some initiatives are underway, while others are in the execution phase. These efforts aim to promote industrial development, enhance competitiveness, and attract private capital.
The reconstruction of Bash Garvand village in the Aghdam district, based on the modern "Smart City" and "Smart Village" concepts, stands as a testament to the Azerbaijan-Slovakia partnership. Minister Jabbarov expressed satisfaction with the involvement of Slovak architects and construction companies in this project. He noted that this collaboration would not be the last in the liberated territories, indicating a broader potential for future cooperation.
