Baku: Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) has announced a new partnership with China's Fudan University, aimed at fostering collaboration in the fields of science, education, and research. The announcement follows a meeting between ASOIU's Rector, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, and a delegation from Fudan University, known as one of China's leading higher education institutions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions during the meeting primarily focused on developing joint projects and facilitating student and faculty exchanges. Both universities emphasized the importance of sharing experiences to drive mutual growth in innovation and technology.

A significant outcome of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between ASOIU and Fudan University. This memorandum is expected to serve as a cornerstone for strengthening ties between the two universities, expanding international cooperation, and implementing joint projects moving forward.
