Baku: The Sabail District Court of Baku has issued a pre-trial detention measure against several individuals who were on the wanted list for terrorism by the State Security Service (SSS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These individuals were apprehended abroad and brought back to Azerbaijan as a result of counter-terrorism operations conducted by the SSS.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the number of detained terrorists is high, although specific figures have not been disclosed. The SSS successfully coordinated with international counterparts to capture these suspects in various foreign countries before extraditing them to Azerbaijan.

In response to an inquiry from Azeri-Press News Agency, the Press Service of the SSS stated that operational-investigative measures are still ongoing concerning this matter. They assured that detailed information would be provided to the public in the near future. The situation remains under close observation by the relevant authorities.
