Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Deemah AlYahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), to discuss expanding international cooperation in digital transformation and innovation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting addressed the role of the digital economy in enhancing economic diversification and competitiveness. It also highlighted efforts to attract foreign direct investment into Azerbaijan's technology sector and increase productivity through innovation.

The discussions included potential collaborations to support startups, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, as well as high-growth companies. Additionally, advancing digital trade and increasing access to international markets were key topics of the exchange.
