The volume of Azerbaijani gas exported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline (TAP) since December 31, 2020, has exceeded 19.4 bcm, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said. “Two years have passed since the start of gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Europe via TAP. During this period, more than 19.4 bcm of gas were supplied to Europe,” Shahbazov tweeted on December 31.

It should be noted that in 2021, Azerbaijan exported 19 bcm of gas, of which 8.2 bcm was the share of the European market. In 2023, the volume of Azerbaijani gas exports to Europe is projected at 11.6 bcm
