Baku: Azerbaijan welcomes the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to reduce the ongoing tension in the Republic of Yemen and to strengthen security and stability, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan wrote on the 'X' social media account, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, it was stated that the current situation in Yemen underscores the importance of exercising restraint and giving priority to collective efforts, dialogue, and peaceful solutions. Azerbaijan reaffirms its support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, and highly values all efforts aimed at protecting the interests of the Yemeni people in order to achieve lasting peace, prosperity, and development in the country, the post emphasized.
