Baku: The 10th meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission between Azerbaijan and Switzerland is scheduled for this fall. It was also suggested by Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, that a Joint Business Forum featuring representatives from business circles and the private sector be organized either alongside the Commission meeting or at a later date. This announcement was made during a joint press conference held with Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, who also serves as the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting aims to explore avenues for enhancing economic collaboration between the two nations. The involvement of business representatives is expected to facilitate deeper engagement and foster new partnerships. The initiative underscores the significance of cooperation within the OSCE area for the economic development of countries and the improvement of people's well-being, as emphasized by Minister Bayramov.
