Baku: A new land plot will be acquired for the Alat Free Economic Zone, APA reports. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree authorizing this acquisition.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree mandates the Cabinet of Ministers to implement necessary measures in line with the Law ‘On the Acquisition of Land for State Needs.’ The plan involves acquiring 1,453.09 hectares of state-owned land, currently classified as agricultural land, located in the administrative territory of the Alat settlement within Baku’s Garadagh district. This land is earmarked for allocation to the Alat Free Economic Zone.
