Ganja:Azerbaijan plans to expand its production capacity in the aluminum industry.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the production capacity of Azeraluminium LLC is set to increase as part of the 'State Program for 2027-2030 on the Development of the Mining and Metallurgical Industries in the Republic of Azerbaijan.'

The plan includes raising the annual production capacity of the electrolysis plant in Ganja to 100,000 tonnes and increasing the production capacity of rolled aluminum products to 50,000 tonnes. The State Program aims to develop the metallurgical industry, expand value-added production areas, and enhance export opportunities.

Overall, the program seeks to create new production capacities in the mining and metallurgical sector, integrate deposits into economic circulation, and boost the sector's export potential.
