Baku: Healthcare spending in Azerbaijan is set to increase by more than AZN 58 million in the upcoming fiscal year. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan's healthcare expenditures will rise by 2.9 percent next year, as per the preliminary figures released by the Ministry of Finance for the 2027 consolidated and state budgets.

Next year's healthcare spending in Azerbaijan is projected to reach AZN 2 billion 82.6 million. This increase represents an additional AZN 58 million 285 thousand, or 2.9 percent, compared to the previous year's budget for 2026, which stood at AZN 2 billion 24 million 314 thousand 550.

The increased budget allocation reflects the government's commitment to enhancing its healthcare infrastructure and services, ensuring better healthcare access and quality for its citizens.
