Khojaly: Azerbaijan is set to complete the construction of 197 houses in Tazabina village, Khojaly, by the end of the year. A media tour was organized to showcase the progress made in the village, as reported by APA’s Karabakh bureau.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the village will see a total of 197 individual houses ready by the end of 2025. The upcoming year will witness the completion of repairs and construction of an additional 159 individual houses. On July 14, 2025, 28 families, comprising 125 people, returned to reside in the village.

In the regions of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly, the head of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service, Afet Telmangizi, informed journalists about the ongoing efforts to build a modern social infrastructure in Tazabina. A 15.5-kilometer-long 10 kV power line has been repaired, with the metering process underway. Additionally, an 11.4-kilometer-long natural gas line has been installed, and a 1.2-kilometer existing line has been restored. A 300-cubic-meter water reservoir and a drinking water network have been repaired, alongside a 16-kilometer communication line enabling landline telephone, internet, and IPTV services. Asphalt has been laid on 3,100 meters of village roads, and preparatory work is underway to repair and restore preschool and general education institution buildings, as well as an outpatient center and market. A one-hectare modern recreation park has been established for residents’ leisure.

The village of Tazabina, part of the administrative territorial unit in the Khojaly district, was occupied by Armenian forces in 1992 and was liberated in September 2023 following anti-terrorist operations by the Azerbaijani Army. On July 18, President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the restoration progress of houses and infrastructure in the village.
