Khanyurdu: A media tour was organized in the village of Khanyurdu, located in the Khojaly district, providing insights into the ongoing restoration activities, APA reports. Media representatives were briefed on the progress of housing restoration in the village. Currently, 40 private houses have been completely restored, while an additional 65 private residences are slated for restoration by the end of the year. By 2026, a total of 93 private houses are scheduled for repair and restoration. On July 14, 33 families, comprising 122 individuals, returned to their native village of Khanyurdu.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Afat Telmangizi, the Head of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, stated that efforts are underway to develop the village’s social infrastructure to modern standards. This includes the repair and restoration of a 14-kilometer-long 10 kV power line and the commencement of the metering process. A natural gas line over 10 kilometers long has been installed, and an existing line over 4 kilometers long has been restored. Additionally, an artesian well, a 400-cubic-meter water reservoir, and a drinking water network have been repaired. A 10.4-kilometer-long communication line has been laid, providing subscribers with landline telephone, internet, and IPTV services. More than two kilometers of the village roads have been asphalted, and preparatory work is ongoing for the repair and restoration of a general education institution, an outpatient center, and a market building. A recreat
ion park, covering one hectare, has also been constructed in the village.

It is noteworthy that President Ilham Aliyev visited Khanyurdu in Khojaly on July 18, where he met with the local residents.
