Baku: A roadmap will be developed in Azerbaijan to identify opportunities for applying next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics in the economy, as well as for digitalization and adaptation, APA-Economics reports. This initiative is part of the ‘Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2029.’

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the strategy document outlines the study of opportunities for applying these technologies in two economic sectors, with a corresponding roadmap to be prepared. Based on this roadmap, four pilot projects are expected to be implemented. It is projected that operational efficiency in sectors where these technologies are applied will increase by at least 5-10 percent.
